No “Open Gate” 

This is a friendly reminder that gate guards cannot let guests into the community without calling a resident for permission, and they will call for every guest that arrives, unless they are provided with a guest list.  If you are planning an event, kindly provide the guard on duty with a guest list so that you are not called every time one of your guests arrives, or feel free to create a temporary guest list at  Thank you!

Garage Use 

This is a friendly reminder that vehicles must be parked in your garages, and no storage in your garages should prevent you from parking the amount of vehicles your garage was intended to store. Additional vehicles shall be parked on your driveways, as long as the driveway can accommodate vehicles, and once garage and driveway space has been utilized, residents may park additional vehicles on the street. Thank you!


2017 Tree Trimming Schedule

Great Scott Tree Service will be in our community doing tree trimming through the end of June.  Below is a listing of estimated dates on when each neighborhood will be trimmed.  This schedule may vary based on weather delays or if they have additional crews that may speed up the trimming project.

Below is a list of trees that are scheduled to be trimmed at this time.  Eucalyptus, Olive, Pepper, Pine, Podocarpus, Poplar, Rhus and Tristaina.  Trimming of other species of trees is scheduled for this Fall/Winter.

Here are the estimates dates by neighborhood:

Botanica – completed

Ledges – completed

Amberhill – completed

Citrus – 6/1 to 6/5

La Cima – 6/6 to 6/21

Chaumont and Arezzo – 6/22 to 6/27

Fiore – 6/28


Mosquito Control:

Per the City of Irvine’s website (, here is their recommendation to help eliminate mosquitos:

The best way to control mosquitoes is to target their aquatic stages and the easiest way to do this is to deny them the water they need to develop. This is why the Orange County Vector Control District asks the public to eliminate any standing water around the home or workplace and to report standing water that cannot be eliminated. Anything that will hold as little as 1/4 inch of water can support mosquito reproduction and should be emptied or drained. If standing water cannot be eliminated, it must be treated. Some treatment products prevent juvenile mosquitoes from breathing. Other products, such as insect growth regulators, keep juvenile mosquitoes from completing metamorphosis. Another strategy is to introduce mosquito-eating fish into water sources. Combinations of different strategies are often required to control mosquitoes effectively.”

Construction Issues

It has come to the Board’s attention that many homeowners are having dumpsters dropped off for their construction projects.  Please note that you must contact Management before a dumpster is dropped off in the community.  Dumpsters may not be stored on the streets and need to placed on the owner’s driveway and may only be in the community for four (4) days.  Please see the below excerpt from the Architectural Guidelines.

Construction Equipment – Trash bins and dumpsters may not be placed on streets or other areas of the Community that are exposed to the public view for more than four (4) consecutive calendar days unless otherwise approved in writing by the DRC.

“Prohibited Vehicles,” as described in the Master Declaration, (including, without limitation, trucks, concrete mixers, trailers, compressors, and other similar types of construction equipment), are not allowed in any driveway or other exposed areas or any street except for the purposes of loading, unloading and making deliveries or emergency repairs, unless otherwise approved in writing by the DRC. Overnight parking of trucks is not allowed.

The Owner is financially responsible for any equipment removal and repairs the Master Association deems necessary to comply with this restriction.



If you are doing architectural changes to your home, you must have approval for any exterior change to the structure and/or property.  Construction hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday thru Saturday.  There is no construction permitted on Sundays and Federal Holidays.
